In 2001, I visited Guatemala with a group of fellow Rotarians from Morgantown, WV. In Guatemala, I commissioned a carpenter, Rigoberto Hernandez, to build little harps. He became a luthier and produced many harps for a Guatemala Music Teaching Project established by North American harpist Patrice Fisher.
